At last, I have found the queen! Now where is that knife?
EDIT: I have just found another small bug, Reepicheep is stuck in mid air in Escape from the Mines, but also took place in the final battle!

Have you been given permission to use the hot spring yet? If so you need to thaw something out in it.

Right...worked out the levitation spell....still cant seem to beat or get past them bloody ghosts at the church that keep attacking me when I cast the spell????
Saleh - you don't need to go too near them. If you use use the correct object, Sarlan will come and sort those demons for you. Bigger hint - jump to the left from the demons

Darn it. That was going to be the first thing I was going to try but on the way back I screwed up royally, so I just quit and figured I'd try later but then I forgot that I hadn't tried it. {yolkfolk}:redfaced:
I've read some previous responses and I wonder what to do with the snake charmer's pipes. A rope was mentioned... now the only ones I can think of are the soft rope (already used for snow rackets) and the rope ladder. However, if I remove it I'll have to go through the dark caves again (not that I can't, I just wouldn't like to...)...
You may find you can't go through the caves again, Reepicheep won't wait forever NowhereGirl, so I suggest you don't move the ladder :teethy:
OK, so what can I do to get into the ice palace? It would be great to be done with this game today and to select screenshots for keeping in the evening...

The block was built over 20 years ago and tiles in the bathroom, toilet and kitchen were laid right afterwards and not very well - for example in the communist period stuff like tile glue wasn't really available, so the DIY man used plaster instead. Now tiles in the toilet are falling off, so tomorrow renovation starts - I have already removed all books from the hall to keep them away from dust. Today my mum is coming to help me get the washing mashine out of the toilet...)

Anyhow, am i missing something?? I seen the snow queen now and I am not sure what to do?? I am guessing it is something to do with the last ray of light??
I don't have any items left that have not already been used??

To beat the snow queen you need two things:
1. The black dagger Reepicheep mentioned - if only he hadn't died, he'd show you where it was...
2. You have to find a way of using the sunbeam to disable her - is there anything on the map (maybe not an item) you haven't used yet?
And Nowhere Girl, he means the wall to the left of the mine exit.
Now I use the levitation spell, but I can't jump over the demons - something in the air seems to be blocking me.
Btw, I had tried the pipes on this rope, but I didn't know you have to do it at the top. This was kinda logical, but yet reminded me of something in "Daisy Goes Solo 2": where you have to chop the coconut using a rock as a makeshift table. It only works if you stand at the side of the rock, not on top and that's rather something you have to guess...

thanks everyone for the help so far...im plugging on but at a complete standstill trying to follow the mouse....would love some help please!
Reepicheep has rather dark fur - maybe if it was ligher, you could see him despite the darkness?

Bloody demons!! I thought the stairway just past the kitchen would be a nice safe place to store my items ...wrong!!! ...oh, if only Tim had read Jamie's lovely bit of code on the 'DizzyAge help' thread that makes things happen when two moving objects collide. It would have been very satisfying to be able to blast the demons with dynamite.
Still, now got as far as helping the natives destroy the demons at the entrance to the ice palace, but down to half a life, so have a horrible feeling that I may have to restart yet again. I do like the way Tim has changed the background as the game progresses ...and the different ways to swing the dwarf's hammer.
@jmd1980, Once you figure out what to use on reepicheek in the mines I would recommend saving the game as you enter each new screen as it's still very easy to die.
Nowhere girl, How on earth did you get a washing machine in your toilet. I'm sure it won't flush away :wink:

I am at the same point as you, needing to kill her, but I still have plenty of items not yet used, the broomstick, gold, sextant, tweezers, copper sulphate to name but a few from memory, as well as lots of items that I have used! I can guess what the unused 'item' is that Noggin refers to, but haven't got a clue on the dagger yet :sad:
EDIT: found the dagger :smile: but can't get to it :sad:

OK, I came through the entrance and now I'm again unsure what to do. Either get stuck and repair the mirror or find another way to open the blue crystal door?

I got an idea that the observatory plays a part in the light beam!!? I been over there but it still says the same as always and that I can only see clouds??
Gotta bring Reepicheet around?? Not sure how yet....I tried smacking him with the broom, ringing a silver bell over him, smashin him with the warhammer!!

Nowhere girl....no way out of them there little maze until you fix the mirror!!! Make sure you save your game whilst in there cos u gotta use the correct chemical otherwise it will be all worthless what you done so far!!
