The one thing I can see is that Reepicheep’s tail is pointing somewhere, but I can’t jump on any hidden ledge… do I need to use some item? Btw, I just loved the “Backstage” scene… But I’m still so sad (Reepicheep was a very nice character, and Sarlan – I love big cats, I keep six lions at home – plush ones of course*) and ‘m not sure if I haven’t missed something…
*Maybe, to be more precise: six and a half, since a liger is half lion, half tiger and I also have a plush ligress… (I guess she was meant to be just a reasonably realistic plush cat, but her coat could pass as liger-like.)

You're right - but it's not a hidden ledge, it's a hidden door.

clue about the demons at the church??? they keep chasing me!!! tried bugle but no help forthcoming….

Have you used the snake charmers pipes yet?? There are some posts earlier on to help you
Nowhere girl...you used the correct item but maybe in the wrong place??
I have no idea what item to use… I tried frost demon’s paw (as with the palace entrance), dragon’s tooth (thinking it could act as a lock pick) and broom handle (it’s long and the secret door seems to be in the upper right corner, far from the platforms), but without success…

One of those items is the right one - it's just a question of finding the right place. (Is something in the background a little different?
And jmd, you need to find a way to get up the steeple - it was discussed earlier in the thread...
Just completed {yolkfolk}
Amazing...one of my favourite fan games so far!! Your coding skills seem well beyond beginners level.
Absolute brilliance....one question, what is the second ending?? What is the backstage that Nowhere girl speaks of??
Back to talking to my family again {yolkfolk}:yahoo: {yolkfolk}
The backstage can only be accessed if you haven't used the correct item in the right place before being able to approach the Snow Queen.
I got to the secret room (of course with the last item I retried  ), but now I don't know how to outwit that frost demon... I can't see any ledges I could use...

You need to use an item (or two!) you've used before...
Hey Saleh, glad you liked it. You gave me one hell of a scare with the telescope tho. {yolkfolk}:scared: {yolkfolk}:scared:
Backstage is a room that appears behind the snow queen if you haven't found the dagger and gives you a hint in where to find it.
There's two alternative endings: One becomes available if you kill the parrot, the other involves you using the lev spell in a very high place...

Oh please, give me some more hint… I’m so tired (and I also need to go to sleep early because tomorrow the repair guy comes shortly after 8)…
Do I need to spell it out for you?
Do you mean the word "spell" is a hint? OK, I'll think about it... maybe I got it...
EDIT: Whew, solved. That was a REALLY HARD GAME... Please, don't correct the reappearing diamond bug, it helps a lot. You can pretend you didn't know about it.
I was happy to see the defeated animals thaw when the Snow Queen died. However, altogether the game really has a "heavy" and gloomy atmosphere. Don't take it as a critique - I don't mean it's bad, it's just different and maybe more emotionally tiresome. Games like "Illusion Island Dizzy" have quite a creepy atmosphere, yet they don't feel so heavy...
It does, it does... especially seeing the defeated thaw and come back to life. All the dwarves and natives who didn't want to fight and could have felt tricked by Dizzy... The mouse - he was very nice... And of course the lion - btw he looks very well, probably better than the standard Dizzy-game lion. I only haven't noticed if he has a tuft at the end of his tail... (Anyway, as I said, I love big cats, I have 16 tigers, 6 lions, 1 liger, plus a squirrel. Btw, my Elsa doesn't have a tuft too, even though adult lionesses do have it. Maybe the producer planned her as a cub and not a lioness, but since she has been living with me for over 20 years, I definitely consider her an adult. Btw, my oldest tiger, Paul, will be 30 years old on Christmas Eve. That's the one who started my tigermania. )
However, I expected the surroundings to change more after the Snow Queen was gone... But there is the beach where Dizzy goes for a holiday and this is also a big change compared what most of the game area looked like...
EDIT: Oh and by the way... the very ending certainly looks like a promise of a sequel... you know, the Snow Queen's reflection...
