This is a great game, really enjoying it, so thanks Grandad! However, am completely stuck... I won't go through all the items that I've got, but I'm really stuck on Denzil's page with the cat and mouse problem. I've got the clockwork mouse but I don't know how to wind it, plus I have the cheese, but I don't know how to make it extra smelly. Also, I don't know to how to make the sausages ready in Dora's house. I can get Daisy and Dylan up on the stool by the cable, but I need to get a 3rd character up there. I've tried everything everywhere but I think I need to focus on Denzil's problems. Many thanks for any help!
Denzil needs a key to wind up the clockwork mouse. You get the key by changing the can of oil. If you haven't found the oil then you haven't found the room with the generator in ...unfortunately there's no door into that room so you have to find a way in. As I'm a total b*****d there's no clue given by just pressing 'action', you have to be holding one of two items when pressing 'action' in the right place. {yolkfolk}:animwink:

You certainly are!! I swear I have tried every character (except Daisy, who won't move any more) with every item and its alternative, in every place, and I cannot get any more characters to join in, turn on the electricity, clean the plaque (I have one item for this but need another) or any of the Amorog's unsolved problems. {yolkfolk}
help from the author - is unsportsmanlike  All the same, that he put forth a riddle, and then he has answered. The point? Can also put the map? * sarcasm * Now in the case - why Daisy did not move? This she must find the generator room. upd Yes, it looks like a small bug game. With stools can not get off. You've got to have the author to verify that all three doors open, and only then give the stool. Therefore it is necessary to have some saved. sometimes helps. or play again. * Sorry for my english, Russia - Motherland elephants
Sorry everyone, I had a lot of trouble coding the 'standing on each other's heads' and totally forgot about characters still being trapped in their areas. I'll have a think about how best to deal with this 'dilemma' ...and maybe change a few other things that I'm not totally happy with. After all, the game was done in a bit of a rush to meet the deadline.
PS - to clean the plaque you need a bucket of water and a scrubbing brush (that's the funny little item under Dora's sink)
Version 1.01 now with Adzm - the map was changed so old saved games won't work. Have sorted out typo and oven problem, plus radically altered the 'standing on each other's heads' puzzle so that control only passes to another character if they are present in either of those two rooms. If not, they stop the puzzle and you can move them from the top character down. Also made the door to that area powered by electricity too so that players realise that the electricity has to be turned on before progress can be made.

Damn! scrubbing brush - have not been able to find. I guessed that the plate should be washed with water and a brush, but in the absence of brushes and so the game was over
Thanks Grandad for version 1.1, now I've been able to get into the wizard's sanctum. I've been able to put the sausage on the table, use the slippers to walk undetected and have poured water on the nice red carpet. Now though I'm unable to action anything on it, all that happens is that it says 'that's a nice soggy red carpet'. Can anyone give me a little hint please??! {yolkfolk}
Sorry but I've tried everything in the sanctum to electrify the wet carpet but nothing at all works... I can't action any object in that room. Should I have done something to the carpet before I poured the water on it? Or do I need a combination of two objects in there?
Finally finished it - nice work as usual, Grandad! Great little game. Thanks for your help azesmbog, I wouldn't have got the electrocution thing without you!
yes Grandad you are an cruel b*****d and getting crueler by the game!!!!!!!!! there'll be no Clive Dunn song tribute to you this xmas  Anyway completely at a standstill trying to find the invisible door, have actioned everywhere with every item and every character - wondering if i'm missing an item but don't think so, and there's nothing else i can do at the minute so need a thick persons clue please if your feeling christmasy benevolent ta {yolkfolk}:redfaced:
thank u for that boys i found it in the end and was off and running.
thanks Grandad thoroughly enjoyed playing as usual - my enjoyment does not excuse your cruelty! :x_x: my fav bit [no not the cheese] was the pile up, worst bit finding the invisible door, though that was mostly my fault for not committing to the action! Anyway brilliant as usual - can't wait to see how much more cruel a person can get in the next game, which i somehow don't think [or hope] will take a lifetime. Many thanks and hope you had a lovely xmas and a hangover free new year. {yolkfolk}
