Hello all my name is Richard and I've been a Dizzy fan since as long as I remember. I was raised in the early 80s which was an amazing time to be a kid and a gamer/computer fan. My first Console was an Intellivision from MAttell and spent many days playing Dungeons and dragons. The days I wasn't playing was taping up the cables or learning to solder.
When the console died for good my dad bought an Amstrad CPC 464 with the Amsoft pack. It didn't take long to build up boxes of cassettes and among them , usually at the top of the pile was Dizzy.
Between that and Jet set Willy I haven't played a platformer with that kind of insane difficulty. The precision required was pin point.
I have a lot of my old tapes in the attic but the only in my room right now is Dizzy. Oddly enough this is a Spectrum tape as I picked it up by accident. Yeah I missed the great big yellow corner  .
I was sad to see the Oliver twins fail in their kickstarter but am hopeful it isn't the last we hear of them. Also I have just seen the Android game so have picked that up. Was nice to see it still under Codemasters wing also. I wonder why Dizzy Returns was'nt supported by them also? Probably a risky move.
Anyway thanks for having me , Im thrilled to be here.
Rich
