As for your unused items: the lid is used with the jar to catch something, the sticks and tape will be used at the end of the game, and the safe combo and button will be used in the area you are now.
Ok regarding a feather that was mentioned earlier... Am I being really dumb or am i missing something obvious, because I am not seeing a feather anywhere and this I think is messing me up. I haven't posted for years but this damn feather has stumped me. Bet I've walked past it several times.
Am feebly stuck quite early on! I've rescued Dylan, Grand Dizzy and Dora, but haven't found any other yolkfolk yet. I've given the appropriate objects to the two leprechauns. My issue is that I expected to heat the stick by the fire to get rid of the bees, but unfortunately that doesn't seem to work, and I can't find anything else to substitute it with. Thanks as ever for the game though, Grandad!
That is what you do. Not sure why it wouldn't be working for you. Maybe you aren't dropping it close enough or you are using the sticks instead of the soggy log. {yolkfolk}
Nope, have looked all round and can't find the soggy log. I have these items: remote control (unused), safe combination (unused), pickaxe, miner's helmet, umbrella, talisman (unused), sticks (unused), megaphone, lid, jar and hammer Also have the three items left behind after Grand Dizzy, Dora and Dylan. Any advice please?
You need to find the scuba gear. It is being protected by a creature. One of your items will help you pass it. You can also use the remote in two places to get a couple of stars. The first is right near where you found the remote.
Thanks SN Trooper, I needed your help there - not as fiendishly difficult as some of Grandad's other games (I'm still trying to figure out how to stop running out of money and find myself stranded somewhere on The King's Flag). Very enjoyable one Grandad, ta very much as always!!!!
Thanks Armorog. As regards the King's Flag there are ways to get loadsa dosh (Lottery ticket on the Isle of Wight and selling various items; particularly relics).
