Hi guys. I recent spoke with Andy UK, who was famous around here for creating quality fan games back in the day. He's really up for doing a new project, so it dawned on me, why don't we?

I want to put my modelling skills to the test, and create some pretty graphics. These will be 3d modelled but rendered in 2D, much like many of the platformer games from the PS1 era.

Last night I made a tree and a log staircase, which will ultimately be the yolkfolk area. This project may or may not go ahead, but this is what I've done so far as a mock up to see if we can create the visuals we are after. PS: the cloud background is only temp. I'm pretty infamous for announcing projects that never see the light of day, but I think after the doom and gloom that was Dizzy Returns, it will be nice to make a big project, and I'd be happy to have anyone else on board for music, level ideas etc.

Thanks guys, lets keep the little egg alive.

I'd like to help but I'm not entirely sure what I can do to help.

Nowadays, I've gotten a lot better with colouring 8-bit graphics to make it look more 16-bit, as seen on Magic Maniax 5.

If it ever gets to a stage where It's playable, I would like to share some sound effects from Dizzy games or any other obscure emulated games.
I like the idea of doing what Sonic 4 did where it re-used sound effects from the first three Mega Drive Sonic games, but obviously in this case with various Dizzy games.

Not being funny Mat, but isn't this about the 6th time you've posted on here in as many years, announcing a different 3D game? Each time you do, nothing ever comes of it, so forgive me for being rather sceptical.

Apologies if I'm confusing you with someone else.
