Don't Panic Dizzy (HELP THREAD)

Quiggie, the two things you can do right now are the bouncing ball and the Martian. And he is meant to be specifically a Martian.

Actually, the martian puzzle is the one I fear is probably just too obscure and difficult. By way of a clue, let me ask you something: Is it clear when Daisy has got wet from the mist in the arboretum? Or do I need to redraw the tiles to make it easier to see? Earlier on, Nowhere Girl said she didn't notice.

Come to think of it, there might be another puzzle you could do. Have you identified all the serums yet?

Thanks guys but i'm sort of steaming ahead now. Got memory card d & martian fluid, opened up lots more, so playing around with that at the moment. Thanks Grandad i got the items there using the personality cards. Loved the the bouncing ball trick. Think i know what to do for a bit now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Done those thanks Noggin. Yes it was very clear to me when Daisy built up a sweat. All the serums? Got 2 dead plants so wondering what i would test the 2 i'v left on?

Nowhere girl, as Annie said, flip the switch in Dizzy's area just past the 'transport tube' to send stuff to Denzil and the fans change direction, then you can use the air flow pipe just past Daisy's 'transport tube' to go up, then just walk left and drop down the pipe and you land on the new shoot. Walk to the left and jump into the control room and get the memory card.

GRANDAD i collected 2 items in that area?

So did I Annie, but couldn't get back with the top item until I found something else (couldn't get the power cell though). I'll fiddle around with the humidity to sort out the martian and hope that it helps with the bouncing ball as all I've managed to do with that is to stop it bouncing after cutting something with the 'top item' in Doras.

Didn't get the cell either. For the Martian its not so much the humidity its more what Daisy catches after visiting a very cold place. You have to place the item in the right place for the bouncing ball to get you what you need {yolkfolk}:raspy:

I'm at a standstill again for a while, gonna keep trying though and as for help later if i don't get anywhere.

I've solved the puzzle too, but I can't see any relationship between it and the alien being a Martian. Am I missing something as a non-native English speaker, perhaps?
Now there is more to do, but I wonder about two thngs. I tried some cards on "Dora's" slot. Both "enthusiastic" and "compulsive" make the lift go up, but not all the way up (with "enthusiastic" there is some noise heard as if something wasn't working smoothly), so I can't reach any new objects. Plus, I still only have one cell and I'm starting to get worried...
And second, a new area opened up in Dizzy's sector. I can move some of those hovering platforms, but I can't make the gaps small enough to let Dizzy pass... Is there a way to climb down those short ladders?

Edit: I found the right card for Dora, but I don't know how to move on the upper level... it seems I need to use the sturdy box again to reach the cell, but I can't jump on the crate mountain from this side.

Thanks Annie, now to try and sort out fred and the big ball and continue the war against the mad bots.

PS - I Did manange to get a power cell from the 'medical' area with the hovering platforms.

Please help me with the crate that Dora uses to get to a yet higher level. I've written about it before: I can't jump back on the highest pile of crates without using this one and I seem to need to use it on the top.

Perhaps that power cell and the one you can't reach in Denzil's area from the ir platform are dealt with later as I cannot get them either (I only have 4).

I also need more clues Annie; I've tried using the 'carpet' on every bit of the floor with the bouncing ball and bugger all - even tried using towels (wet & dry) and magnets and bowl of fluids in and by the pipe entrance to block the ball. I can slow it down by the edge of the pipe but touching it loses health. I even tried thinking about Atlas Shrugging and tried using the muscle stimulant just as the ball hit me ...but died (yet again!!)

Hi Steve. Bizarrely, you've done the puzzles with the bouncing ball in reverse order. You'll see the purpose of the carpet later on. Right now, you need to find something bouncy.

BTW, you can get the power cell above the IR platforms now. You just need to 'look' carefully.

Well, I've given up on Enchanting Day Dizzy as I'm well and truly stuck on that and no sign of any hints so I've started Don't Panic Dizzy (they're like buses these games, you wait for ages and two come along at the same time!).
Anyway I've found Daisy and filled the basket with twigs and a piece of wood but can't find anything else to aid my progress. I need the code for the safe and something to set light to the basket. Everyone else seems to have managed and I feel a right idiot 'cause I just can't find or do anything. Any tips or hints will be a godsend.

Don't care about the bin now. You'll need something else to keep the fire burning longer. Dizzy can help Daisy find the code for the safe - look for an earlier hint where I was asking what to do with the laser pointer.

Thanks for your help Nowhere Girl. I've found the item in the thread and have looked all over Dizzy's section but I can't find the laser pointer or anywhere where a laser could be used. I'm so sorry to be a pain but could you give me a more specific hint please/

Sorry Grandad i thought you were eluding to the correct item (bouncy tile), hope you've found it now and are on your merry way - i to only have 4 cells!

Right Noggin i'm well stuck again now for a while, need to do something with the solar battery and the jammed mechanism! Need to stop that ****ing Rat Bot from swotting me (has it something to do with feeding the strange food on the rat? if so i've tried everything there) anyway my newest items are:
solar battery, muscle stimulant, purifying serum, radiation suit, scotch tape, dylans hat, something shiny, glass cutters, magnetic clamp, stanley knife, heavy hammer, martian fluids
and lots of other used items. Hints please

Grandad how the hell did you get that bit of carpet, know its the stanley knife & tried everything else with that because its very stuck!

Oh yeah and how the hell did you manage those platforms, i feel you've gotten through another way?

Hey Sparkles this game is nicely frustrating & requires a lot of patience, just keep wandering around & checking places, its pretty hard to know if the place you need access to for the laser pointer is opened to you yet [i'm crap at remembering when things open]. Anyway its Dizzy's lift, top left go wandering there if you can :x_x:

You need to find the first memory card before you can access the room with the laser pointer.

Hi Quiggie, there's actually loads of things you can do. First of all, you can get all the 8 power cells from where you are. Only one of them is hidden from view behind something.

Have you found the exit to the Denzil section? If so, it's just a case of finding how to fill up that gap.

You'll probably have heard the carpet mentioned in passing several times. Can you remember where?

You can rescue Dozy. There's a clue about how to start doing that near where he is.

Similarly, there's a clue near the jammed mechanism. Where might you find the required stuff?

And the solar battery needs charging somewhere.

Thanks Noggin but i think i must be having a thick period cause: i can only see 1 cell that i can't reach (doras area).
Found no exit for denzil, still have a door unopened there, or if you mean the gap along the bottom right the message is YOU CANNOT DROP THIS HERE if i try to get closer i die.
Yes i know where the carpet is but it is fully stuck no matter what i try with the obvious item [stanley], even all pc's in the hoover again!
If getting dozy is killing the rat/bot then i'm having trouble with that to just getting swatted with everything i try even distracting the rat with strange food, keep dying when i try going via the platforms, & the hole in the machine won't fix with the obvious or the not so obvious!
As for the jammed mechanism what i try there i'm told YOU CANNOT DROP THIS HERE.
Yes i'm still searching for somewhere to charge the solar battery.
Perhaps i need to change my thinking, but i have tried & tried even the most obscure. But i'm off to try & try again, but pouring myself a stiff drink first {yolkfolk}:rofl: EDIT: wooooho rescued dozy, now lets see how much that helps :smile:

EDIT AGAIN! Sorry Noggin must've had a bit of brain freeze, on a bit of a roll again now. Only worry is there is absolutely nothing i can see to do left in Denzil's area, maybe i'll get something soon.
