Thanks Noggin. I had tried to do that but died so didn't try again.
Unfortunately I've found a major bug. When you go back into Dora's area the Dylan death status shows back up.

Edit: I just reloaded and old game and tried a few things and it turns out the status only comes back if you didn't go back for the item you need to save Dylan. Or at least go back into the boxes before using it.

I've got this as well, should i have solved the solar battery in there before getting Dylan, no matter what i'm doing his life bar is appearing & running down!!!!! I did have the items to save Dylan before going through to the boxes with Dora?

Sorry, this is just a bug in the game. It's got nothing to do with solving the armoury, which you can still do. There's a collider next to where you found Dylan which should have been disabled when you gave Dylan the serum.

I'm afraid there's nothing to do but reload the game from before you rescued Dylan and play through again. After Dylan's life bar appears, walk back to the left onto the boxes to trigger the collider, then give Dylan the items he needs.

I'll do an update with the bug fixes at the weekend. :sad:

I'm not sure what you mean by "trapped". If you mean sucked out the airlock then you should be able to just hit the call button to bring it down.

Do the serums first, in the place below the bouncing balls! If you have a SOFT non-bouncy item that should help with the balls!

NOGGIN if know you said we'd kick ourselves when we discovered where to charge the battery, but i'll be kicking you for making me do lots of this :wall: :wall: :wall:  
Finally trapped the chicken & followed your instructions to disable Dylan's life bar! But again can't get anywhere, with only Daisy & Dizzy left & i've been everywhere with them both for the battery :confused: Can't get the rat bot yet, think i know what do do once i've put something back together, as for the item in the cold storage - no idea. Can i do any of this without solving the battery crisis yet?
Off to keep trying & doing more of this :wall: :wall: :wall:

Even went back and held down at the insert site in Dora's area

After placing the battery in the bright light trying everything to hold down the red button!!! nothing working, went back to where i got the battery & held down there for a bit with no joy?

You just have to stand in front of it. :wink:
