Hit it.

Use the compulsive card on the van Nowhere Girl and immediately jump onto the platform - it stops at the top ledge where the hammer is.

Annie, I just placed the battery in the middle of the 'bridge' and then kept jumping up when the fly came near till the battery was charged. As Simon said, it charges when you're standing in front of it and as long as you don't move away and just keep jumping, the charge won't drop.

Sn Trooper, place a bit of food in front of the closed door, then another under the lift shaft and the rat and robot will come down. When the rat is eating in front of the door, open it and the robot goes in, then press the computer to move it further in, then shut the door ...and you'll see it floating in space from the windows in the medic bay. I think you know what to do next.

Simon, basically I was playing 'chicken' when dropping the shiny thing just before I jumped up as the timing is that you have so little time to do anything before it gets you ...unless dropping the shiny thing keeps the chicken under you.

Now I know what you meant about that bug... with brighter light it's flying closer to the lamp. OK, so HOW do I slow it down and is it enough to simply stand on the platform after having selected the battery in Daisy's inventory?

You can't slow it down completely, just keep standing in front of the battery and jumping up as the fly almost reaches you - every time you land the battery will continue charging.

You can slow down the bug by lowering the temperature.

Thanks Grandad.

OK, I'm moving on, I have to rest, but here's something I'm angry about: I could spare a life, but if Dora gets killed, you have to start all over again! Really, this is a bit too much.

Is anyone still struggling with the chicken? I hadn't realised it was so hard. To reiterate - there's no item used to trap the chicken, you just have to jump up at the last minute like the Road Runner vs. Wile E Coyote and let him run into the airlock.

Nowhere Girl, are you talking about the guard bots in the armoury? Think of it as a free mini-game! :teethy:

But please, just tell me, how many of those missile-shooting bots do I have to expect? This should give an idea of the section's length... So far I have reached the second one twice.
Really, it would have been much easier if the game at least had a possibility to save at any point...

Oh oh in the shooting gallery with Daisy, could be here for some time as i'm a completely rubbish shot!!! Maybe i'll get better as a go {yolkfolk}:ill:
Found the chicken quite easy in the end thanks Noggin but my little trick was to run right to the door then jump back and push the button.

It does seem like just about everyone got stuck there. Probably because the natural reaction is to get up on the platform as soon as you can. But if you do that you are already dead but don't know it yet. Perhaps if you made it so that if you jump to soon it follows you up? Or just have it continue on into the airlock no matter when you jump? Change it so you have to go into the airlock and then jump over the chicken? (That is what I was trying to do.) Make it so you have to put something in the airlock (like the martian or a spacesuit) to distract the chicken from Daisy and make it go in there.

Or you could have Dora show up in a cargo loader. {yolkfolk}:raspy:

OK, finally past this section, with little idea what to do now... Any hints?
And: does anyone know how to get that battery in Dora's section?

You can use your new gun to get an item you couldn't reach before. Other than that it is hard to say without knowing more about where you are. Who have you gotten to the teleporter room and what items do you have that you haven't used yet?

Never did figure that out. Or the one in Daisy's area (in the upper cage). Or where the last one even is.

Or what to do once I have gotten everyone to the teleporter. {yolkfolk}

So far I have rescued only Grand Dizzy and Denzil. Some unused items I can recall: beam invertor, glass cutter, magnetic clamp, scotch tape, Martian fluids, spanner, Something Shiny... but I may have forgotten something.
Where do I fill the water pistol?

Edit: OK, it was actually already full.

Edit 2: However, now I'm kinda puzzled over how little the repaired computer really does and how to use it...

Edit 3: I've rescued Dozy, but I'm unsure what to do now. Spanner and Martian fluids have already been used, but more unused items are rubber-tipped syringe and magnet.
Daisy and Dora still remain in their sectors and I haven't met Dylan yet.

The next thing you should do is fix the seized up machine (the claw) in Dora's area. If you read the logbook next to it it mentions that it uses mercury as a lubricant.

As for Dizzy's door, what you are trying to do there is get the pest bot down there and out the airlock.

Thanks a lot. (I had already forgotten that logbook, having reached Dora's section some time ago.) Any advice on how to repair the stuck lever? I tried the hammer and spanner, but both didn't work.

Look at the area around the lever.

I’ve found seven.
Two in Dizzy’s (Under blanket and under moving platforms)
Two in Denzil’s (Above invisible platforms and across bad water)
One in GrandDizzy’s (that I missed)
One in Dora’s (Above the lift) ~ Can’t figure out how to get.
One in Daisy’s (In upper cage) ~ Can’t figure out how to get.
No idea where the eighth is.

Of the 3 power cells you can't get, one is hidden in a wallin Daisy's section, one requires an item to get and the other is accessible from an unexpected place.

There's something hidden near the switch. Have a good look at the background.

You know you have to retrieve the memory cards? The puzzle is how do you get out of the room before dying.
