I'm replaying the game and I tried to get the cell from the upper cage, but I don't know how. You said my guess is correct... so I need to use the magnet, right? But where?
There are only seven persons to save, so is the eighth cell just to leave some flexibility in case you can't find all? Or maybe you'll give us some advice where the eighth one is?... In case I again can't do the pixel jump in Dora's section.

No, you really do have to get all of them. The jump to Dora's cell is hard - too hard I guess, I'll change it in the update. You have to stand absolutely right on the edge and jump from there.
The eighth one is hidden in a wall in Daisy's section. You'll have to just keep jumping into walls until you find it. Don't worry, it's not hard to get to.
As for the one in the cage, just walk in carrying the magnet and jump around.

I should be posting an update at the weekend. Think I'll put in an option to save the game when you reach the shooting gallery. It should make that bit less frustrating.

I already found the one hidden in a wall - next to the air shaft, isn't it? So I think you meant another one... I'd be grateful for advice, I'm already quite far with replaying the game and I wouldn't like to start all over...

"Oohrah" (to quote NCIS) I've finished ...and only my fourth runthrough, but this time managed it without losing any lives. Nice to know Colin Page is still alive as his games were always fun ...and hope that Jamie's contribution gives him the impetus to get going on the third part of the LOD trilogy.

I agree that the 'one save point' was a bit frustrating at times, but it's your game, so it's your rules. Personally, I just went back and saved at every 'dangerous' bit ...ie saving the game after Dora puts the recharged battery back in the gun but before she turned it on.

You wouldn't believe the number of times I called you a b*****d whilst playing, so take that as a compliment.

Loved the puzzles, graphics and sound effects - especially the 'sneezing' and that damned clever way of doing the safe combination. If you don't have a problem is there a chance that you could PM me the unpak code so that I can have a look at how you did some of the coding (and probably 'borrow' some of your sound effects).

Update on my problems  : sorry, I was wrong. The number of power cells "stimmt". The one in the wall wasn't listed, but I had found it before, so I thought there is still one missing.

OK, game re-completed. To be honest, when I replayed it now - it didn't seem so horribly difficult anymore. Despite the single-spot saving, I'd say it was sightly less difficult than "Snow Queen". After having completed the latter, I thought of writing a walkthrough for http://www.dizzy.pl, but then I thought: oh no, not again, I won't remember all the item uses... Now I hardly had problems of the "where was it / where to use it" type.
Btw, something really incredible: I managed to complete the armoury on the first try. Previously I had to try about 25 times before I got it right...

Got a bit busy but finally got round to finishing at the weekend. Finished 1st time with only 6 cells, but on my replay made sure i had them all and finished fully. I thoroughly enjoyed playing this, hard and frustrating at times (which is good) but a lot of fun, lovely graphics and good surprises, fav bit was waking up dozy. Thanks very much Noggin for a great game & good luck in the competition. Oh & of course i look forward to more games {yolkfolk} {yolkfolk} {yolkfolk}

Look up at the inventory screen when you use the laser pointer. You can also use the glue to hold something up.

I didn't even notice Daisy being wet - how does it differ from her normal appearance?

OK, I think I found An Important Item... I have now managed to get the depressed lift working and I gained access to new areas, but I can't do anything at all in Grand Dizzy's section... Removing the main computer's memory cards is dangerous, I don't think I can do anything with it. I thought I'd slip the "depressed" card to the fire sensor, but I can't reach its slot.

What did you use to get the lift working?

To get the lift working you need to use a key to get the card out of the slot. Don't know if you've found it yet.

I've been playing this one on & off for a while now, time to ask for help...

-in Dizzy's section, I can't get the depressed lift to go up. I've taken out the depressed card, and I assume I need the enthusiastic card to make it work, where can I find it?

-in Daisy's section, I can't get to the memory card above the fire. Nor do I know what the cold storage room is for, or the cold bit on the wall. There's a strange looking bud up in the arboreum, which I assume can be made to grow so I can reach the little room just up to the left?

-in Denzil's section, I've found the three serums, and I've seen I can test them somewhere, but haven't figured this out yet. I don't understand what to do about the dripping water, or where I can use memory card B!

Also, I haven't found Grand Dizzy's section, which everyone seemed to do fairly early on?

Help!

You need to get the card out of the vacuum cleaner. I think. Maybe it was the oven. One or the other.

Thanks, I'm a bit daunted by looking through the help thread and seeing how much there is still to do, and how difficult it looks...
Having got to Grand Dizzy's bit, I've sent the spray paint, but I can't find the other end of the pipe in anyone's area! Which I need to do next, to get the spray paint to Denzil, and the rubber boots to Grand Dizzy.
Where should I be looking?

I'm sure you need to go beyond the kitchen now - where the oven + food is after that.

The pipe to GD's area is at the end of the middle left passage in Dizzy's area.

Where is the kitchen? Is it the room with the fire in Daisy's section, because I haven't extinguished it yet.
Also, the door in the middle left passage is still closed.

You need to find another memory card. It's... umm... I think I need a memory card for myself. I don't remember where it is. Maybe Denzil's area? Yes, it must be because you need the one in Daisy's to get to Denzil's and there aren't any in Dizzy's.
