The smell of roses

I just love them. I hate that they are so expensive and die so quickly, but I love the smell of roses.

We all need to stop and smell them every once in awhile. Even if it takes a romantic holiday to do so..

In England it's now considered rare for roses to emit a perfume, but right outside the house I'm currently residing there's a tall rose bush climbing up the wall and every year you can smell the strong scent of roses from as far as 2 houses away. They smell amazing, but the poor thing is constantly under attack by greenfly and blackfly.
