Hi there, new user here. Huge fan of the games as a kid and delighted to find this community!

Just downloaded a couple of the DizzyAge games to my Mac but being fairly computer illiterate not sure how to then play them.

Is it Dizzy.Pak that I click on? {yolkfolk}

There should be a 'dizzy' picture called 'Dizzy' which starts the game.

Cheers mate. Do I need to download them or can I play them online?

Like I say total idiot when it comes to technical things.

You need to download them, but it will not work on mac. You need windows to run it, or ask for a mac version of it, if the author of dizzy age will want to compile it for mac os.
Ooorrr, search on google on how to run windows games on mac. But if you aint that good with computers, then ask a friend who is, to help you with that. Tell him to install BootCamp on your mac.

Welcome to the Community.

Our site's founder is a Mac user and has made a number of DizzyAGE remakes in the past.

He made a video about how to play DizzyAGE games on Mac. I think the program he used was called Wine.

Sorry I can't provide a link, It's difficult to get around the web and copy and paste things on my phone.

Surely your best bet is to buy a decently priced PC that isn't an expensive pretty box  If you are a computer novice and you don't work in a limited number of fields (such as DTP, music, photography or video), then a Mac is an expensive pair of golden handcuffs which will limit what you can do and you pay for that privilege.

Sorry, rant (nearly) over - as you may have gathered I am no Apple fan, and have been frustrated by too many people buying Apple products (which are generally more expensive than a non-Apple equivalent, and I want to get good value for money myself) and then wondering why they can't do x,y and z and it is because Apple will only let you do what Apple want you to do, so they unwittingly pay extra for reduced functionality when there was no practical reason for them to choose the Apple product over A N Other. {yolkfolk} And let's face it, hardware wise there is no major difference between an Apple computer and a Windows computer these days, you just get a different OS, and a pretty case that lights up and pay double the price for the privilege of that and not having an upgrade path available.

Phew, got that off my chest!
Anyway, genuinely, good luck with getting the Dizzy Age games working.
