The Dizzy Sprite Sheets Thread

I've been thinking about the Spellbound graphics that darkly had posted here a few months ago and I thought I'd dig a collection of sprite sheets, most of which I never got to posting on the site.

If anybody has some sprite sheets to share (even fan made ones), feel free to share them here.

First off, some of what we have already.

Crystal Kingdom (C64) by me

Fantastic Dizzy (Sega Mega Drive) by Yawackhary

Now what's yet to be added...

Amstrad Dizzy by Bag of Magic Food

C64 Dizzy by Bag of Magic Food

These ones were originally ripped by darkly but modified by me.

Graphics from Magic Maniax 6 and Christmas Chaos.

I don't know who's responsible for these graphic rips but I think this originally from who's posted on the old Theo's Grotto website...
NOTE: Some of the images are missing certain sprites like on the Prince of the Yolkfolk one.

Bubble Dizzy (Amiga)

Crystal Kingdom (Amiga)

Magicland (Amiga)

(modified by me)

Prince of the Yolkfolk (Amiga)

I do have plan to have a vast majority added to the site down the line, your contributions are welcome.
Merry Christmas.

David's managed to direct me me to an Amiga sprite source on the Internet that had some of the sprites I've listed above. But it had have a couple that we didn't have.

Fast Food (16-bit)

Being fully aware that this is a Dizzy site.......Seymour!

Some of these sheets are really nice looking, so have copied them to powerpoint sheets and will make tiles out of them. Some of the 'main' games I've made my own versions of already have the 'original' tiles in them, but it's always nice to have new ones ...that is if I understand correctly and these are just sheets of pictures and game makers will have to make their own tiles out of them if they want to use them in fan games.

While I'm still concerned about the decline of fan game making, I want to share a collection of most of the graphics I've modified or made for the 3 Dizzy and Seymour games in case anybody is interested in using them on any of their own projects.

These Dizzy and Seymour sprites were originally taken from their Amiga games but with the colour detailing heavily edited, the thing about those Amiga sprites is that some of their animations like 'walking' plays more smoothly than on their Spectrum animations/

Now, some of you may look at these thinking "What's the point in posting some of these when its all on the DizzyAGE engine?"
Well if you take a closer look, you'll find that a lot of colour detailing has been added to each one. Something I started doing when I was making Spirit Island in an attempt to work with fresh 8-bit graphics extracted by Nootrac (now uploaded onto Yolkfolk's server) on the DizzyAGE Help thread.

Also, some of these sprites are edited versions of the ones made by Noggin, AndyG, Rindex and possibly Jamie.

Sorry I didn't make these in .tga, I have managed to animate and convert images with GIMP before, It's just that its too time consuming for me.

Feel free to use them if there's any you find useful.

Is there any of the backgrounds from fantastic Dizzy, the wayyyyyyy back ones
I'm doing "something" for Halloween although it not Dizzy as such, it a new character
I'm just on drawing new vector style platforms, rails, trees etc and I may not need the backgrounds its more reference but without all the stuff in front of them , I have the original graphics from my Dizzy and the pit game which I'm using as reference but not the backgrounds..
I'm hoping to have parallax scrolling

Ah, too late! {dizzy}

These are the only two backgrounds I can easily rip for now. I'm sure there's a more simpler way of collecting all the backgrounds, annoyingly It's not simple with Fantastic Dizzy.

thanks
With it being a Halloween theme the forest needed to have no leaves on the branches but I think I might use the mountain range its a lot nicer than mine

One new addition to the Game Resources page.

Spellbound 16-bit graphics.

These were ripped by @tantalus a while back, but the colours on the image were all messed up which meant I couldn't add it.

But I learned a transparency trick on Clickteam Fusion's image editor and managed to get the image to show the correct colours.

So its now available for everyone to use.

Actually, I've been looking for something like this, but I guess I was too lazy to fire up an emulator and go hunting. It's not easy either. What I did was actually screen capturing and got what I needed that way. But this is way better, thanks!
