I can't approach the boar wearing the denim cap as it might attack me. But I can't give the denim cap to the bully. Presumably I need to get the boar to attack the bully, and get something conker-shaped for the passage. Everybody else seems to have figured this bit out easily enough and finished, but any clues, anyone?

FINALLY FINISHED (done a bit of work between tho). I spent far to long on the easiest of things like the long lift with the 2 red bricks that I kept trying to avoid instead of centring myself {dizzy}:mad:
Another great game thank you Grandad, giving the donkey the mules was my most lol moment. Loved playing so much I’m off for another play.

Got a whole batch of games from GOG, so as I don't have to try to struggle to work in the snow (ha ha ha) maybe some of them will give me some new ideas to inflict on you.
PS - Thanks frogman for letting me know you got shot by the beach pirate for giving him the record - I'll have to include a 'bonus points' window in my next game and add lots of little extras for people to try and find {yolkfolk}:sob:

I really should keep notes of my games instead of having to load up the map and try and remember what happens :wall:
OK Sun, It seems that for the mouse/rat to push the gold down the hole (to the same part of the cave as the ball drops to), you have to lift the floorboard (that is just left of the room door) with the crowbar and drop the cheese down the hole and replace the floorboard. Then you have to stuff the hankie from the Yeti's bedroom into the mousehole otherwise when you use the fan from outside the house, the 'flavour fumes' won't reach the mouse/rat.
You can't get the bucket until it's time for the monks to have dinner {yolkfolk}:scratch:

You need to move the pot to the other end of the altar to open the left hand door. What's that? It's too heavy. Hmm, seems like you're going to need a strength potion. Luckily Glenda the witch on Starfish Island has plenty of the stuff ...for a price! {eggs2}:denzil:
Those vines need a good slashing with a sword. The best type of sword is one that a pirate has, but he needs something in return - and it's not a record (unless you want to die!)

I don't mind giving full disclosure on this thread Sun as the game is really old now.
Let's start with the old 'dinger'. You need to talk to all four monks on the top floor of the temple (they also give clues about solving various temple puzzles) and give the gold from the Yeti's house to the other monk on the top floor. You can do this in any order, but once you've done this the dinner gong will ring. Go to the dining hall and action the dinger to make it fall on the floor and pick it up.
The black pearl for the pirate is/was the piece of coal on the training tree complex on Deserted Island guarded by the snakes. You need to find the code activation to 'turn off' the clone 'nasties' and then press the button by the (ex) r/h snake to drop down to be able to get the coal and turn it into the black pearl.
I'd forgotten how hard this game was - have fun with the rest of it :tup:

Hi Sun, looks like you've forgotten rule no.2 - keep pressing action on objects that contain something just in case I've hidden something else in there ...and in this case, it's the haystack. Not only does it contain two coins, it also contains a small battery and a small diamond. Give the diamond to woman selling the honey and get the red mushroom :tup:

Just completed this. Much harder than the original version, though!
Still, i have questions:
-are flowers/pencil and bleach/black pearl record just red herring? Or is there some kind of secret that i missed. I know the record can be used on pirate with deadly effect.
-what exactly getting Jenny(skinny dipper) panties do? It doesnt seem like it influences anything in the game.
@grandad Do you remember on this game if you can get past the animals that attack you, such as the bat, the birds, the fish? Or they just a dead end?
