The castle steps that 'move' to allow you to descend to the mine area are controlled by that red lever in the maze ...pushing and pulling that lever opens and shuts the steps alternately.
The third piece of music is in the caverns that lead to the mines on top of one of the blocks (and holds 5 notes). If I remember correctly, playing the second tune gives you 9 coins. {yolkfolk}
Sun, off the top of my head I think you give the fish lady one of the rainbow coloured sweets (without looking, think they're behind the hedge gap at the farm). You can't make bulk coffee, but you can make a cup and impress someone else with it, so that they buy the field of coffee. Hint: in this game coffee is the equivalent of amphetamine.
See Boo's posts Sun, she found two 'music scripts' and I told her where the third was. Play the notes in the cavern for extra 9 coins (after playing the notes from the organ to be able to get the pickaxe).
@grandad Hey Grandad, as my name suggests, I'm a bit late in the game, but I've been trying to give the coffee to the fat lady, and nothing happens. Someone here mentioned having a frothy coffee, but there are no kitchen utensils that could help make the coffee in any of the 3 houses I've been to. To be clear, I've found 3 wolf's head coins and I'm trying to get the 4th one in the Armorog area. Apparently the fat lady gives you a cheese sausage, but there's nothing I can give her. What about that Buddhist monk next to the cafe? He seems just as uninterested in anything I have to offer. And the great tit egg doesn't seem to work on anything. What about the guys having a party where the red herring guy was? Any help would be greatly appreciated !
Hi Newbie, I've been having trouble signing in and have just managed today. You get the cheesy sausage when you give her the cheese sandwich (for the second time?) . It seems that you get the coffee for a cheese sandwich the first time - I'm having trouble remembering the order of things!!
I believe the monk needs the coffee to start sweeping.
You need to give the druid back his hat to make sniffing flowers teleport somewhere - the flowers by the woman whose child gets taken take you past the electric barrier and you can get to the nest to return the great tit egg
@grandad Thanks Grandad, appreciate your response ! Unfortunately, whenever I try to talk to the fat lady, she goes on "it's unfair", so I can't really give her anything. I did try to give her the sandwich many times before, along with the gobstopper, mars bar, can of lager, anything edible. So, unfortunately, still stuck. As for the tit egg, I did try to give it to the bird, but got the same response "I don't think that will help". What does the bird give you anyway? And what about these guys having a garden party ? Do they help Dylan in any way?
And you don't get the coffee (bag) from her the first time. You grind the coffee from one of the weeds in one of the houses with a blender, but whenever Dylan tries to give the bag of coffee to the woman, it reads "I just can't give her the coffee. She needs it in bulk"
Bleeding 'ell, I've now had to log in again, having left the site just over an hour ago.
You don;t give the egg to the bird, you use the hammer in the hole to reach the nest and out the egg in the nest. The bird then mentions about a field of coffee (brown stuff) and who is selling it.
When you give her the field of coffee, she will give you the cheesy sausage when you give her the cheese sandwich and a cup of her 'latest creation' which you give to the monk.
I can't be certain, but I think the people in the garden are just a cover for the man selling fish - who tells you to read a book in the library to find out about red herrings.
Sorry, I'm not being that helpful, but it's been ages since I played that game and don't have any notes.
@grandad You've been VERY helpful. I couldn't have guessed to use the hammer on the trunk (I thought it would be used with the anvil). Anyway, amazing game ! Is the fifth Wolf's Head coin in the mines?
