well i've been at a standstill for the last couple of days so defo not going to get any further unless some kind soul helps me with those 5 colours to get thru the green door and those damn music symbols, think my guesses of what instruments they are is correct but as for the order to put them in haven't a scooby doo. Oh & Grandad got excited at opening the orange door shouldn't have bothered for that measly gift you old meanie {dizzy}:mad: unless i missed something & theres more to get then {yolkfolk}:clap:

Thanks for the help but I can't seem to do anything at the back of the house. I've already use the glass earlier and am not sure how I would use the grey key.

If you've already used the glass when its EMPTY then you've received the message to do what you need to do when you come across a safe
I have opened the safe but I can't remember what was in it or what I did afterwards, due to spending a couple of days going all over the map trying to work things out.
Yeah well you don't need to go to that hse again & if you've used the items you got in the safe hse from what i remember (& i'm a bit rubbish at remembering) you should have got the last bit of totem & the final ornate key & have you been thru the lazer bit?

I've been throught the laser bit and got a brown key, which I've used but can't find anything to get to that banana. I can't open the last hut to work out the symbol puzzle. As soon as I've opened that I think I know how to solve the puzzle. Just need that banana to open things up.

Yeah the sequence for the music symbols is really frustrating I don't understand it at all, but hey none of us seem to be getting it :wall: :wall: :wall:
I do not know how to press musical symbols. There are 40320 combinations of musical character settings (8x7x6x5x4x3x2x1 = 40320).
I'm relieved to say that cutting and pasting worked! I'm now in Fisherman's Paradise and need some help with the numbers to go with the coloured discs. If anyone can help I'd be grateful.

I've just realised that apart from the dragon's egg, I haven't found any other secret rooms. Anyone else found any. I've got 95 fish and still need to get the one beyond the pile of rocks but can't find anything to demish it with and still need another 4 fish. Perhaps the instruments puzzle is the answer.
Glad the cut/paste worked Sparkles as I've come to realise that this game is far too frustrating for an enjoyable replay - especially as Armorog took one look at the maze and basically said 'No (Anglo-Saxon expletive) way'. So no more mazes in future games (can't guarantee no odd puzzles though). However, I was quite chuffed at the animation of Dizzy impersonating Indiana Jones by clinging and moving along and up/down on ledges (and ducking on the poles to avoid the bats).
The instrument puzzle in the pyramid is not really that hard if you make a note of the sequences in the huts. It can be easily worked out (unless your name is Annie or Jarek), if you substitute letters or numbers. The only guesswork is the possibility of two instruments for first and second, and two for penultimate and last. The ones in the middle are in order:
organ, saxophone, drums, trumpet
...and you already know that the last one is the piano, so now you just have to work out, 1,2 & 7. {yolkfolk}:scratch:

So if my good friend Sparkles feels inclined to PM me with a clue for dummies i'm ok with that.
I like the frustration in you games Grandad lets me consume more vodka & all the more pleasing when finally solved don't give up yer mazes they are amazing, but give us solvable clues {dizzy}:dizwink:
Grandad Please keep doing your mazes. They do my head in but it's so satisfying when you finally get it. I have so enjoyed this game and I love secret rooms too.

Yeah that was disappointing thought i'd found a secret room but nothing ever there!
