Hi everyone, first of all Yolkfolk.com is an amazing site for finding Dizzy resources.
In the last 6 months or so there has been tremendous progress in the Dizzy speedrunning community. We have speedruns for almost every game in the series (although not every platform!) Most runs have been done on the Spectrum/CPC versions of the games.
Dizzy 1 has a *new* glitch to bypass needing the amulet to defeat Zaks. For anyone wanting to see the whole game there is an All Eggs run.
Treasure Island, Fantasy World, Magicland have all had multiple people compete for the fatest time and the first 4 games have been completed succesfully at live speedrunning event.
Spellbound, Crystal Kingdom and Wonderful Dizzy also have good runs while Prince of the Yolkfolk has an almost flawlessly exceuted run.
The NES games are active too with many runners competing for the Fantastic Adventures of Dizzy record. A big sequence break brought down the Dizzy the Adventurer time. Newer NES game Wonderland has got a record using Dizzy and Daisy. And Mystery World will have a run up soon!
