Thought I should do the right thing and start a help thread!
I'm into the clock tower and have successfully placed the chalices but I can't find the remote or the light bulb. i've also found some platforms with buttons and a beam but can only manage to jump on the last one even though I pressed the button. Trouble is I only have 45 points left. Could someone please give me a hint that might move me on?
Sparkles, to get the light bulb, jump and push 10 buttons in proper order.
@zibi thank you Zibi. I’ve worked it out but I’m down to 50 points so need to find that remote control fast.
I'm finding the clock temple tough going. I've placed 1 candle on the altar and found the cross. No idea what to do next. I can't see what the hidden switch near the cross does. Can't find the crystal you need to get past the dragon.
Could some kind soul help me out?
Simon, that hidden switch only opens the 'wall' (above and left of the three spikes) that allows you to reach the cross. You need to find another candle. There's one in that part of the temple (by the arachnids) and another in the area opened by the blue key you get from placing the chalices in the correct order.
I've pulled a hidden lever but can't find out what its done. I've placed one candle and can see another but can't get to it and I haven't found a cross or the remote control. There are also two doors in the Clock Tower red section that are locked but have only found a blue and a green key both of which I've used. Any help gratefully recieved.
Hi Sparkles, it turns out there are TWO false walls in the room with the green keyhole. One is opened by the hidden switch and has the cross and some coins behind it, the other leads to another room with the other candle in it.
I've managed to get a dragon egg myself, but there doesn't seem to be anything else to do now. If Grandad hadn't mentioned the remote was in the temple, I'd have assumed it was complete I think. {yolkfolk}:scratch:
@noggin-the-nog The hidden lever hasn't opened up anything for me. I got the candle from the room with the nasty insects and have flung myself at every other wall in the room with no luck. can you give me a hint please. :confused:
I can't think of a hint but the hidden lever is in the wall above the two doors next to the altar. The cross is found next to it, but you have to go in from the other end, above the green keyhole.
And come to think of it, I still haven't done the long room with 2 corridors and the yellow and blue teleporters. Still don't see what to do though. {yolkfolk}:puzzled:
@noggin-the-nog Thanks Noggin. Done that now. I've also done the long rooms which give you several artefacts. Still searching for the remote and how to turn on the platform enabling you to climb up to get the second candle. Can't think of a use for the cross yet. Perhaps I should leave the Clock Tower and explore somewhere else :wall:
Sparkles, there's a picture on the wall of the room with the second candle in that tells you how to find the key that turns on the platform.
Simon ...how about using a spade somewhere in the Clock Temple :wall:
Thanks Grandad, now have a dragon's egg and a remote which I have used and found a poison mushroom but stuck again and very low on life now.
Sparkles, use the remote control on an obvious device and you will receive a reward :)
@sparkles-49 Have you found the secret room in the bottom right of the mushroom caves? I warn you, it doesn't get any easier! I'm down to 150pts, with 73 relics and 37 coins.
Is there any way of topping up your points total?
EDIT: Turns out that room isn't as important as I first thought - it just contains 1 coin & 3 relics. So I'm stuck again. :no:

I've jumped down to the bottom of the shaft by the mushroom cave but can't find a secret room and can't get back up without losing LOADS of life. not sure about the bees. Need to find a bottle of rum for the mushroom. Tried giving the blue flower and the ripe plum to the bees with no luck. I'm so stuck now. I have tons of items not used but equally have nowhere to use them either. Grandad' right this is a B*****d of a game :confused:
@sparkles-49 Oh sorry, I assumed you had used the rum already. You find it right at the beginning of the game - you can jump up to the window in Daisy's kitchen and get on the roof of the shops.

Sparkles, Simon is referring to the actual 'temple' not the entrance. However, when you reach the bottom of the mushroom shaft you should notice one of my sneaky little tricks ...a little ledge to the right that conveniently holds an item found in the shaman's hut that allows you to bounce back up to the surface rather than wander through the spinning spikes losing loadsapoints :lol: .
PS - back to jumping on those mushrooms as the exit is at the top left of the area :wall:
Simon, don't know what you've missed - there are 60 coins in the first temple, 42 in the clock temple and 11 in the mushroom. temple.
@grandad The main bit I haven't done is the room with the 2 corridors in the clock temple. You get to it by placing the levers DOWN, UP, DOWN. There's a load of coins you can't reach because of the blue and yellow teleporters.
EDIT: I've discovered you can get those coins despite the teleporters. I assumed you had to turn them off somehow, but no. I'm now at the mountain with 79 relics and all my coins spent. Seems like there's nothing to do but try all my items in that suspiciously empty dead-end.
