The Goblet of Truth (HELP THREAD)

As people are beginning to post I thought I should start a proper help thread so, yes, it's me starting one again :lol:

I've got seven jars and thought they might turn me into an artist but no.  I have four vases and have placed them but haven't found the fifth one yet.  I have spent AGES trying to work out the sequence for the brown and orange block puzzle.  I got it down to one square but that's it.  I'm also struggling with the pink lasers and think I will have to solve one of the puzzles before I can move forward.

Finally!!! I've done the brown and orange squares.  Got another conundrum now though :umm:  

@sparkles-49 Think grandad with the beams.

sorry Hammermalc I don't understand.  The beams I can't fathom are the bright pink moving ones.  I tried timing them and jumping but got killed everytime!!

@sparkles-49 If it is the first set, watch what the beams do and then save after each one. Timing is key. The second set, think what a fiendish grandad is famous for.

The ones I'm struggling with are after the music puzzle.  I managed to get one coin before being zapped.

Thanks Hammermalc.  Now I have two puzzles around colours.  I'll have to have a look around for a clue to the one after the beams.  means doing the beams again though :roll:  

@sparkles-49 To shed some light on your quest. You have seen the way. I am totally stuck with the four shields. I know where to use them, but I can't find a clue anywhere. Also the 7 jars of colours. I have seen the clues, but whatever way I try they keep dropping down. Getting frustrated now.

Oh got lost in the 4 crowns, to get the lump of gold… any hints please, thanks in advance

@sun2003 You need to look everywhere down there, it's not that difficult. I have the gold, but tbh it was random. I think I started from the right. Sorry, that doesn't really help.

I think I did the crowns in random order.  I've done the same with the jars as you have Hammermalc (used the old rainbow thing).  I only have three shields.  Not sure what you mean by shedding light and I'm hoping the Pygmy cow is behind the door in the cellar.  Feel I've come to a bit of a dead end.  I'm sure things will improve after a break.

I think I'm getting close to the end now, but I'm stuck on two colour puzzles. I think they may be connected? The first is the one with three tanks and a gauge, and 'A-B' 'A-C' labels. I thought you had to mix the correct colours to get the level to rise, but nothing seems to work, it's breaking my brain. There's a clue (I think) in the bottom of the castle with the timed enemy. The letters CBA-BCB etc are in the two rooms there, I thought that was the solution, but it doesn't work whatever order I try.
The second puzzle is in the dark room which you eventually light up with the machine. There's a sequence of colours, I've tried a lot of combinations but nothing will make the prize drop down 😓 

I'm overthinking it, the answer is right in front of me, but I can't figure it out.

@gosunkugi The first one with the letters. write them down as written top to bottom, left hand numbers first. Then write the second set next to the first top to bottom. It should read CA BC etc. Follow every set and you should solve the problem. You need the sequence. Where did you go for the beams, a light will show you the way.

Thanks for the message.  I've been back to the beams but can't find anything new.  Managed to use one of the keys I found on a door in the cellar near the jars.
