The Goblet of Truth (HELP THREAD)

Oh thanks Hammermalc at least I know the order now.  Can't remember where I found the key.  I had a silver key and an ordinary one.  One of them I found in the moat.  I don@t have a gold key yet.  Looks like we have to test absolutely every wall and piece of scenery in this game :wink:  

Yes, there is also a steel key and you need to use both the silver and steel one and then solve another combination puzzle before the door for the gold key appears ..and yes, there are clues to solving the combination. In fact there are clues to every combination puzzle and maps of both the cloud and coin maze - and yes Sparkles, have fun checking out all the walls and stuff.

The clue to the lump of gold puzzle is:

the colour of the crowns is the same as the dresses in the pictures of the queens in the castle.

PS - The clues to Young Daisy are for anyone who fancies having another go at Young Daisy to open up the bonus game.

@grandad Hi again, yes long time, and wonderful that you made another game, in fact, its perfect timing, then i had things to do when fighting against co-vid, im allright now, phew luckily it was a mild one.

Oh yes I already found out of the tip with the crowns, but then im completely stuck, tried many different combinations, had several numbers, but the question is, does it have to be in random order... or begin first from the left to right?

@sparkles-49 Thanks, I found the key now. Thought the numbers were for the shield, but no. Looking at what Gdad wrote there is another combination somewhere.  Still stuck with the shields and the coloured jars. Not sure what to do now.

Hammermalc, have you found the empty jar?  Don't know what to do with it though!  I'm struggling with the colour puzzle that gives you the fourth shield.  I can get the darkest purple but not the lighter ones.  Guess it's a case of trial and error.

@sparkles-49 The jar is used somewhere in the Woody Knoll 😉 

Let's just say there's a certain cook there who'll make you a fruity cocktail to help you with some troublesome PC pests.

@sparkles-49 Is that the one with a-b b-c etc? Look at the two bottom areas of where the moving thing tries to take your life. There are letters. Write them down. Yes, I have the empty jar. I think it could be for a potion or black paint, but not sure. Still stuck lol

@gosunkugi I've got the jar and the fruit and have actioned all along the woody knoll section but I can't find a cook.  The monk by the vases only wants another vase and there's still no access to the castle kitchen.  I've obviously missed something.  Please could you give me a hint?

She's likes to brew potions, but won't do anything without her familiar, who's gone missing. If you still can't find this particular "cook", the neon sign should be what you're looking for.

@gosunkugi Thank you for the clue but I've been all around that sign and the cook and no luck,  I haven't got Gobolino yet.  I know where he is but I need the bean first.

@sparkles-49 Me too. I can't seem to be able to go forward unless I solve the shield and coloured jar puzzles. Grandad, help, please.

I just brute forced the cloud shield puzzle. There are "only" 256 possible combinations. And I got it about a third of the way through, don't quite know what to do with these three keys though. 🤔 

@hammermalc Under the castle with the disappearing red platforms, make sure you explore EVERY room Clue: you should end up with enough jars of paint to go with the platforms in the drill room.

If you talk to her, she's missing her helper, so won't make you anything until you've found Goblino(sp?) Clue: This one is a hard one to find as it's REALLY well hidden, but from Dizzy's house, head outside and try jumping.

@gosunkugi I found Gobolino very early on.  What I don't have is a bean to grow a beanstalk so I can get Gobolino and for that I need a pygmy cow which I also don't have!  Any ideas?

@hammermalc the shield puzzle is remarkably easy.  Grandad doesn't put yellow transporter pads in just for fun.  You also need to remember that it's a puzzle in the clouds and you should look around for a clue.  Hope that helps.

@gosunkugi Thanks. I have done all that. Might try the brute force method.

@hammermalc If it's still the cloud puzzle here's a better clue... use the yellow transporter to take you outside then look at the cloud formation :tup:

Told you so haha. I'm stuck now with the jars.  getting Gobolino and the code on the back of the door in the cellar.  I also can't work out how to open the door with no handle or keyhole.  Wondered whether the remote would work but no.

@sparkles-49 I tried that as well. I think we are in the same position now. In some ways the codeon the door was a clue for the shields, the numbers were in a different order though.
