Dear Yolkfolk,

After my recent posts regarding Dizzy graphics rips,  I wonder if anyone would be interested in other game graphics rips that I have done in the past and the current one I am working on?

My current "project" is Frankenstein (DOS) 1994 and is pretty much done as for ripping graphics/sprites, I am just finishing off the reconstruction of the map.

I chose this current game for no other reason than for the "sexy" looking art/sprite work, and of course the challenge to rip the original assets via programming only.

Hi.

You've done a fantastic job with those GFX rips, I truly thank you for it. {eggs3}:eryes:

I can't immediately think of anything outside Dizzy other than maybe some other Codemasters games.

But I'm curious to know which ones you've done so far, there could be a few titles I've heard of.

I haven't done any other Codemasters games, mainly due to others on the Wiki list (that I know about) not being too "good" looking (unless I stand corrected).

Other factors are I only find the 16bit era of game graphics (pixel art) appealing and modern 32bit 3D etc are just meh!

Off the top of my head I have dabbled (in various stages of completion) in the following games for either/all Atari ST, Amiga and DOS.

Flood
Batman: The Movie
The Blues Brothers
Chuck Rock
Gods
The Jungle Book
Lure Of The Temptress
Titus The Fox: To Marrakech And Back
Lagaf': Les Aventures de Moktar
Nicky Boom
Nicky 2
Seymour Goes To Hollywood
The Lost Vikings
Trolls
Blinkys Scary School
Super Cauldron

I've done the old fashioned way of cut/paste for both Seymour and Gods. I just love the background graphics of this Bitmap Brothers game... and managed a final score of 20 million (which I thought was supposed to open up extra gameplay but didn't).

Yup, there's a few games I'm familiar with from that list.

Blinky's Scary School especially as I own the Spectrum version, I remember it having nice graphics.
