Dizzy Goes to Borderland (HELP THREAD)

I'm first again!!  

Doing ok but stuck now.  Items I have are:-  Sausages, Jack's Pickaxe, Uniform, Cheese, Heavy Sword, Jug of Water, Detonator, Water Pipe, Wooden Bridge kit, Rope, Flag, Sharp Scythe, Metal Crowbar.  I've been, unsuccessfully, all over the village with the bridge kit.  Can't find anywhere to put the water pipe or to use the heavy sword.  Please could I have a hint to get me going again.

Try giving the sword to someone. :yes:  

Thanks Adam but I've already tried the Guardian, Jack, the goat and Theo.  There's no-one else or have I missed something?

I'm nearly at the end of game, but how to pass columns ? How to get brown key from cloud and what for is it? I've got 18 coins and uniform, rope, pickage (used), sausages, sharp scythe (used), cheese, jug (used). Any help will be welcome.

Sparkles try to use jug of water somewhere ... hot place  ;)

Thanks Adam and Zibi but I put the fire out ages ago.  I've jumped from the castle and seen the flagpole I just can't get on the cloud above Grand Dizzy's.  I bet I've missed something obvious.  Any clues on where to use the wooden bridge kit?

Thanks Zibi but despite trying to jump in all directions I can't get on Grand Dizzy's hut roof.  I can see a cloud through the trees which I think might be the way to the flagpole but I'd need to get on the roof for that too :cry:

Thank you both.  I've found the pumping station!  Still can't get rid of the heavy sword but I'll keep trying and I'm sure I'll be back for help again very soon. :yes:  

I found a problem in the game.
It concerns the scythe.
If I sharpen my scythe before cutting the grass, I lose the opportunity to get a crowbar.

I did say it wouldn't be long before I was back {characters}:dai:   I've got the Construction Map and have tried it on every bit of the castle entrance but nothing has happened.  The Guardian just repeats his previous conversation too.  Do I have to do something to the map.  I tried it on the computer in the room with the switches but no luck.  Any chance of a clue please.

I'm sorry Deflector but I just don't know how I'm supposed to use the map.  I've actioned it on every bit of the castle entrance and also tried the same using the map and various combinations of the items I've got left.  I think I need a very specific clue please.

The problem is gone.
But a more interesting effect would be the possibility of dulling the scythe, for example, on some stone.

What to do to activate the torch, to open the secret?

Items left: Magic Book, Rope, Uniform, Cheese, Sharp Scythe, Sausages, Jug of Water (+19 coins)
