With any luck this'll be the last time I ask for help on this game.  I've got brown, red, blue and green diamonds and I can see the yellow one.  I can't for the life of me work out how to get past that piggy thing.  I know Granddizzy is not afraid of wildlife but he can't jump so can't get him into Honalee.  Please could you give me a prompt?

I still haven't managed to do the fairy.  The star is over her house but when any of the characters knock on her door she answers but without wings and I've tried everything with no luck.  Sent Granddizzy back to the library but he won't read the electoral register. {yolkfolk}

Sparkles, you should know by now that Dora's 'spray can of starch' is never used for laundry purposes, just to make other stuff stiff - and as this is a 'normal' game it would come in handy to stiffen the branch by the top of the totems so that people can walk on it.

You can't see a fairy unless you have the magic glasses :wall:

Sorry it's taken so long to reply, but have been breaking in a new Windows 11 pc and had to spend ages disabling all the 'helpful' stuff as Microsoft seem to want to make desktop pcs, as similar to smart phones as possible - including stacks of advertising unless you turn the 'preference' off.

Thank you so much for your patience.  I'm thoroughly enjoying this game but I've saved so many times and gone backwards and forwards with saved games that I seem to have lost track with stuff (spray starch being one of them).  I've got six crystals and Dora can see a crack in the wall where I think the orange one is.  I tried sending Denzil to the tool shop but the man's still moaning about his spanner

I've tried all the characters on the Fairy's door all with the magic glasses which prompts the message that they have no reason to talk to her.  Without the magic glasses she answers the door but all the characters say it's the wrong house.  In one of my previous saves I did get the fairy but no idea how {yolkfolk}

Hmm, not sure about that as looking at the coding, it seems that once you've read the scroll in the secret room and Grand Dizzy has given her address, then if anybody knocks on her door holding the magic glasses should bring the message, 'you're a fairy'  (possibly after you've collected all the money in the charity box and given it back to the owner). Giving her the fairy cake will get the bunch of roses.

Dylan has to talk to one of the men in the back gardens before Dizzy can get him a lawnmower from the tool shop.

Dwarfs are available - at a price - to knock holes in walls, and knock walls down.

I used the yolkfolk village ground to keep all the items as all characters can teleport home - makes you appreciate having 'warehouses' to store items as the warehouse is basically a unlimited inventory.

Hope this works for you.

Have you noticed the timing on these posts, mine appears to have been posted yesterday at 10.27 pm but according to my clocks it's now 10.30am on Sunday 3rd    ...sneaky, it changed when I edited this post!

oh Gawd!!! I'm so sorry but I'm back yet again.  I've tried all the characters at the hole in the wall and tried with them holding all the items i have but all that is said is that it's too dark.  In the dwarf shop, Dizzy doesn't know which service to ask for.  Have I missed something?

 ... only Dora can see in the dark - so only Dora can see that there is a crystal in the room once she has that ability, that should make Dizzy ask for the right service in the dwarf shop.

How do I get up to the open window in the magic shop area?

Confused in the spider maze too.Are there some hidden keys? The sign activated by the grey key suggests there is a red lever to pull to deactivate the vase that jumps across when touched but I can't find a red lever to pull.

Hi Lee, first of all, there are a lot of things that you can only see when you have the magic glasses in your inventory and guess where the magic glasses are? That's right, in the upper room of the magic shop.

The only way to reach it is by discovering that the woman in the house with the open upper window needs a plumber...
so get Denzil to visit her with the plunger in his inventory. You'll also need the mouse from the joke shop and the small red key from the tree in the tree hut complex to get past the cat in her hallway. Then when the loo is fixed, get one of the characters that can jump to put the knife from the beach in their inventory, go the house, climb out of the window  and jump across to the magic shop and open the upper window.
@grandad I'm getting the "no reason to talk to this person'.Restarted and got sink plunger and tried again and same thing.Am I supposed to know that she needs a plumber before I knock? I assume this is the latest version,I downloaded it months ago.1.1 I think it is.Seems to be a few little oddities in this one.I didn't get charged for the lawnmower this time and last time the charity box yielded nowt.

Got it I think.Knock on doors with charity tin first. That was pure luck,I couldn't understand why she answered this time until I saw what I was carrying.Means I can collect more cash from other people and also explains why the tin was empty when I returned it last time.Onwards and upwards  .

Hi Annie, nice to see you're still calling me a '****wit' and other pleasantries {eggs2}:cuppa: . Hope life is treating you well and your hair has grown back.

Must admit that this game was a total nightmare and most people got properly screwed mentally - which, of course, is my main role since leaving the depths of Hades. Ah, that cone puzzle was such a killer eh {eggs2}

You'll be pleased to note that I've almost finished my latest saga designed to mess with everyone, and stars Dora who, of course, is up to her usual tricks {eggs2}:pcgame: ... which will make three games you cannot finish {eggs2}:bashwall:
