Was just playing through the good old ZX Speccy Magicland here on the site, and when i got to the room with the genie's lamp I couldn't pick it up? you can rub it with the cloth and get zapped, but not pick up the lamp itself to take it to Dozy. Or am i misremembering how that puzzle worked?

When you try to pick the lamp up, do you also have the cloth duster in your inventory?
If so, that's probably the reason why as the game will assume you'll want to use the lamp when the duster is in your inventory.
It's a weird one, but that's the only thing that crosses my mind. {eggs3}:wonder:
