New dizzy game "Dizzy's amazing dream" [BETA TESTING CLOSED]

A tiny hint from anyone please? I've found loads of things, but getting nowhere. Items - string bag, metal hoop, tongs, apples, aluminium powder, frog, cognac, pickaxe, hammer (used), matches, dynamite, helmet, firewood, pliers (used), shovel (used), honey, jam, zucchini (& the other goodies I gave to Theo). Tried the dynamite in various places (even tried blowing Pinocchio up). Offered the frog to the pet shop (but it wasn't thoroughbred). Tried to feed it to the bird :teethy: , no joy. Probably missing the obvious (again). :wall:

Horror, poor Pinocchio! :lol: . Dynamite is use on the screen with stones. I thought that matches would be difficult to find, but it turns out everyone finds them at once.

If I understood correctly, then you tried to make a trade deal with the character "Doubtful merchant". This is true?

@lightning Yes, I've used the dynamite now (& killed the goat - not sure I was supposed to. Tried to pick it up, thought it would be useful). Found what was behind the jellyfish, & sold it. Tried to set fire to Pinocchio with the wood & the matches - no joy :teethy:

If you sold a product and did not receive a benefit, then walk around the market and inspect all the places. Solving the riddle on the territory of the market.

I have got a lot further (mainly by checking every item with everybody... and every item with possible bits of scenery) and delighted in having Dizzy change colour that make different things happen and then being able to change back in the 'magic pool'.

I can't swim up to that extra frog in the lake, so must now hunt for some flippers to go with my scuba outfit.

[/quote]There are no flippers in the game. If you have scuba gear, then you can get the key at the bottom of the lake and you won't need the frog anymore. Talk to Pinocchio again, he will say what he needs.

@lightning I sold my thoroughbred frog at the market. I tried to buy him back, but the guy wants 10 coins & I only have 2. Tried selling/ pawning the sword & gold tooth, but no one wants them. Dentist guy is going out of business, goat is up the tree & pie lady wants a fan to get rid of the flies. Is it possible to get 8 more coins, or do I need to start again? (There is a locked door in the cellar that I can't open). I need posh frog for 'lady frog'. Also, think I have found a bug - I returned home to get the jam & honey (for flies?) - I jumped off the cloud by the acid pool & landed on the bouncing mushroom, and bounced up & right over the Ancient building screen. I landed on a 'Congratulations you have won' screen, several thank you screens to the right of it & a big pink Evil wizard & his cronies around a table. Walking back to the left, dropped me in the acid pool. (Hope I haven't got to start from the beginning) :sad:   Bug hasn't affected my saved games.

Hoorah, I've finished, but think I must have solved the 'easy' version as I saved the game when giving the first jewel to the doubtful merchant so was able to reset and give it to the pawnbroker. Also, I didn't sell the thoroughbred frog, I gave it to the frog lady as a 'groom' and got my scuba outfit.

@grandad Guess I just have eggcellent jumping skills. :lol: (PS It just happened - I wasn't trying to jump over the Ancient building). 

I found a bug in the game. When Dizzy, having full pockets, takes an item: "sushi", "thoroughbred frog", "wad of money", they disappear. When I tested this inventory check algorithm, the MAX INVENTORY parameter was = 3, but then, I increased it to 4, and completely forgot to change the value in the check algorithm.

 [/quote]No, you don't have to start over. Bargain with the pet store clerk. He's hungry and hasn't eaten anything since morning, which is why he's so greedy. Give the patties seller the frog you found in the pond where the raft is floating.

@lightning Enjoying the game :teethy:   (Looks like I will have to start from the beginning, all my saves are after I sold 'posh frog'). Flubber boots - bouncy soles, Grandad is making fun of my jumping skills :lol: I think, (but not sure) I was carrying 4 items. I jumped off the cloud, landed on the mushroom & must have hit a 'sweet spot' - I bounced straight up to the right - it seemed to be a screen above the Ancient building. I'm not a programmer, so I can only explain what I did & hope it helps.
