Death Valley Daisy (HELP THREAD)

i'm stuck at the beginning!!!  I've done all the coloured levers with the bats and have been in Grandad's Lab.  i found the bag of gold but I can't get out.  I changed from creep to run and now the creature is awake.  have i missed an ability in this section?

Sparkles - it sounds like you have acquired abilities already if you are able to creep. (Abilities = drinking a potion in the same area.) You need to be in creep mode before you enter this screen.

I have 0 items. I have 240 coins. I'm 10 coins short. I searched everything. I didn't find 10 coins. What to do?

In the caves on the right side when you go out from rooftop. I can't take a screenshot because I deleted game after i have finished. 

I searched the walls. I didn't find the bag with 10 coins. Are there 10 coins hidden somewhere else in the game?

I've started again.  In Grandad's workshop I can't find 'the room above' and in the section with the electric currents, I have the yellow key but can't reach the lock.  All and any hints and tips gratefully received.

I searched every wall. I didn't find the bag with 10 coins. There are 5 pictures. Where is the bag of coins?

I've got the lift working now and have two stars to get.  I've got a silver button that I can't access and a first aid box and yellow pad that I also can't access. I've jumped about all over the rooms but can't get anything to move.  I also have what looks like another lift but it doesn't move!  I'd be very grateful for some help please.

Sparkles - the metal steps will move and allow you to access the yellow pad/first aid kit. Have you solved the screen which has a red, purple and a brown button in it? It is accessed from the yellow pad by the brown wall section you jump through. I think that helped unlock things for me, although I can't quite remember the sequence I'm afraid. 

Have you tried the dark cave? There was a section which had a spike. After doing something, the spike is gone and you can jump through that wall. Or the section with the red balls? 

I didn't find any coins.

What is the rectangle for?
Why can you walk on a wall?

Moved on a bit. I've placed the purple and brown oscars.  Can't get to the last three red flowers for the green oscar (is it possible to reset the puzzle or is there a way to do it later).  I've drunk the blue potion but have no idea what it does!  I need to get rid of a row of red flowers in front of a door.  I'd love some help please.  items i have are:- small pink key, small blue key, spanner, hammer, magnifying glass, 2 bags of gold and SLT discs.
