Dizzy The Secret Land

I can't run the game Dizzy The Secret Land. The game is from 2006. The game can be downloaded from, adventures, fan games, page 4.

Are you getting any error messages when you try to open the game?

Might be difficult to help as the author of the game has not been seen for years.

What Windows version do you have? I do have Win7 (still) and it seems to work. Maybe later Windows doesnt?

I do have a contact to the author of the game. Unfortunately, he avoided questions about source code for the game. (I was asking him about it earlier this year, as I planned to make a remake version)

I have windows 10.

When I try to start the game a message appears.

I downloaded the game on Windows 11 and it extracts and plays OK - just don't understand the language it's in - but the graphics look really nice.

@piotrek I've never seen that error before, and nor should it give you that message as it isn't a source file. {yolkfolk}:scratch:  

Do you by chance have a file called cncs232.dll in the game's folder?

If not, try putting that in the game's folder (attachment below).

If the game still doesn't work with the dll file there, then I'm not sure what else to suggest.

I have the cncs232.dll file in the game folder. I used to run the game on another computer. I can't run the game on windows 10.

Cox file is an extension file for tgf games. It should be embeded with the exe. If theres an error, it may indicate the exe file is damaged. Did you try to re-download the game? 

I downloaded the game a second time. I unpacked the files. The game doesn't work.
