Hi All - Did anyone ever read this book?

Is it worth hunting down?

Also @khaosadz I do like the new site....but....I kind of preferred it when the home page had things like the latest posts, news, games, etc on it. Any chance of them coming back?

The site redesign is nothing to do with me, that was @andrew 's doing, but thanks for the feedback. :tup:

Great choice on ordering the book and I agree, having latest posts on the homepage was really handy!

Old Book:

Hmm – it’s a tough one to review that book. It’s a book about Dizzy – so that’s a massive plus. But…presentation is not great – a really badly scanned section of the Crystal Kingdom Dizzy box on the insipid-pink cover with 60 or so black-and-white pages inside (quite a few of which are just blank). There are 9 pages of history – split (somewhat randomly over 2 sections) of history. 15 pages of game reviews – but these reviews consist of a black-and-white screen shot (points for being mainly from the CPC version) and 5 or 6 lines of text (the rest of the page being left blank). 19 pages of ‘how-to-complete’ the adventure games and 1 page of cheat codes (TROWBRIDGE, etc).

Is it worth the money…probably not…but then again hardly anything you buy these days feels like it’s worth the money. I read it, I felt like there was nothing in it I couldn’t read in the forums on Yolkfolk…but still I enjoyed it - and it's not like it's a huge amount of money!

Ko Tapu Epic Edition:

Don’t hold your collective breaths (not that anyone was {yolkfolk}:joy: )…but…I am increasingly happy with some of the ideas I’m having for it.
