Amiga Spellbound Dizzy (16bit Version) Question!

Has anyone ever figured out what the Sharp Dagger was used for..?
The one under the raindrops in the screen just before the beehive tree.
I just finished the game, and my guide for it but I didn't even use this item. Any info about this would be great.

I think it was a Red Herring, I don't remember very well. I'll start the game again to confirm.

It's a joke item/red herring.

They were common in the original series.
