So I'm working on a guide and using screenshots from the game. What's the legality or stance with Codemasters/Oliver Twins using screenshots from their games in guides..? Screenshots that COULD have the potential to be published into a book.
I know that some companies dont like screenshots being used in published guides and stuff 'cos the legal issue is even though YOU took the pictures it's still showing copyrighted material, it's a little bit of a weird grey area to be fair.
I know it seems like they'd be cool with it 'cos of all the other fan stuff people make and sell online like 3D printed models and such, but I would like to get some clear clarification on it. I basically don't want to run the risk of being sued.. LOL!
