Thanks Piotrek. It wouldn't work, so I started again, and it worked perfectly. Now stuck in the green area. I need to turn off the electricity, the button does nothing and all I have is a safe-cracking book. Tough game this one, Grandad.

Ok, i give up.
I have no idea how to solve Queens second puzzle. I got to blue rooms with scrolls above the puzzle but setting all buttons and switches using all the clues doesnt seem to have an effect. {yolkfolk}:sob:
Wthout looking at the game, I think you have to solve all the puzzles in the correct order, for example in the top r/h corner you have to do the colours from right to left as I think is mentioned in the scrolls in the room above.
