Seymour at the Vanishing Point
They say some movies live forever. But, if not careful, some might be dying.

Seymour thought his days of "Lights, Camera, Action" were replaced by "Sun, Sand, and Soda" at his private beach retreat. But the silver screen doesn't let go that easily.

A cryptic memo from Findelmeyer Studios pulls him back to the lot, only to find a horror story no scriptwriter would dare pen: Actors are vanishing. Not from the sets, but from the finished films themselves. Iconic scenes are now empty frames; award-winning performances have been replaced by static and silence.

To save his friends - and his legacy - Seymour must board a secret, subterranean locomotive that tunnels through the forgotten ley lines of cinema history. From the blizzard-choked peaks of Fogpeak Village to the reality-warping glitches of Clocktower Metropolis, a shadow is watching.

A shadow born from a single, fatal mistake on the set of Take One.
A shadow that wants to rewrite the one scene Seymour can never forget.

This Christmas, the ultimate frame-by-frame adventure begins. But be careful... if you lose your focus, you might just vanish from the credits entirely.

@rin_kagamine

Absolutely! This is an A3 print size, rather incomplete, but as complete as I am willing to Photoshop it for now. Spent a few days on it so I'm done. :D

Enjoy! :)

@rin_kagamine Your right, dark blue golves and boots. He also looked more potato-like rather than dizzy egg-like. As cool as those posters are, he looks too similar to Dizzy. The Take One poster he looks like a tic-tac, he kinda looks more better in the vanishing point poster art 'cos he looks more potato shaped rather than egg shaped. This game sounds great though.

Yep, pretty much what @sylardean said word for word. For this set of illustrations, I've mostly played around and left the red just for fun.

The shape of Seymour vs Dizzy is yet another topic. I tried to figure out a consistent way of drawing Seymour and took inspiration from the original covers for whatever I could find, including the Amiga stuntman seymour. They have totally different styles so I figured I'd just make seymour bigger and "try" to make his center of mass lower.

The Take 1 poster will probably stay like this, but the Vanishing Point poster will definitely be reworked and it will have blue everything. After all, I already made icons that have Seymour wearing blue. :)

Ive always liked the way he's looked in the Amstrad versions of Seymour games.. kinda like how he looks below.

Yep, I also like that. As well as the one I attached which is a manual upscale of Seymour in the top-right part of your image. It's rather tricky to get it right from a side for some reason.

But, hopefully I'll get better at it. I don't invest too much time in the artwork, for me the actual game part is way more important. But, I do recognize the artwork is important too. :)

Alright, it did bug me a bit, so I actually went in full attempting to define a clear distinction between Dizzy and Seymour (artwork wise) since I need to use one or the other at some point and they do need to be rather clear and distinct. So, promising progress, though I lost all the "today" on this. And, I changed the Take 1 poster I previously posted here, so this is the updated one:

(A3, paper print resolution @ 2799x3960 px - 240 DPI, recommended paper to print on: 160 g/m² up to 240 g/m² - NO FOLDING ALLOWED)

below is a low-res preview.

... and, as a weird bonus, a remake of the original loading/presentation screens of Seymour at the Moview for Amstrad, Commodore and Spectrum.

Indeed, I really like it better this way myself!
