Dizzy - The Egg is Back [ANDROID]

I’m excited to share my new project with you: Dizzy - The Egg is Back!
As a long-time fan of the series, I wanted to bring our favorite egg back for a new adventure. Here’s what you can expect:

Classic Gameplay: Traditional item-based puzzles and platforming.
The Story: It's been a long, long time since DIZZY rescued his girlfriend DAISY from the sinister clutches of the evil wizard ZAKS. The latter had rained down his unrelenting rage upon the whole of ZAKERIA. Since then, the YOLKFOLK have fallen silent, retreating deep underground to the kingdom of RODNAR ... until DIZZY is once again gripped by an overwhelming desire for adventure.
Features: For now over 25 old and new rooms in the original C64 style with the original soundtrack.

I'm not a mobile games person, but I've had a quick go at your game.

It's really impressive and it does feel like a traditional 8-bit adventure.

The controls will take some getting used to, but I've had no problems getting Dizzy to walk and jump.

Is there any way that I could download it off the Yolkfolk.com page?

@rin_kagamine I'm afraid the game is strictly for Android Mobile devices only and Google doesn't allow non-Android users to download it, including PC users.
I will give this game an entry in the site database, but the download link will have to take you to the Google Play page.

We don't normally host mobile games on this site because of these restrictions from both Google and Apple.

[spoiler]I managed to give Denzil his headphones, collected a spell, but stuck with what to do next.
Have an eaten apple, Rockwart's note, a cannonball and a used pickaxe.[/spoiler]

The minor bug I found is that when I die, half the the screen goes black before the "You lose a life" message appears. But it might be to do with my phone being 5 years old.

Other than that, the gameplay works fine.

The controls will take some getting used to, but I’ve had no problems getting Dizzy to walk and jump.

The controls are actually quite simple: if you swipe in the desired direction and hold, Dizzy will run. It works similarly for jumping.

Is there any way that I could download it off the Yolkfolk.com page?

Unfortunately, a PC version is not planned. Possibly an iOS version, though. Still, many thanks Adam for including it in your database! I am very honored.

Thank you Adam for the valuable information. We will look into it. I had that issue on my very old phone as well and thought the problem had been fixed.

Just go to the right in the starting room. That should solve your problems.

Since you already have the headphones, you can throw the apple away. It was meant for the rat, to make it easier for you to get the headphones. Have fun with the rest of the puzzles.

I am enjoying this. It is a bit tricky though with the controls. Missing ZX Space and Enter

Also a big stuck, can't get past:

@sminkypinky, have you already jumped up the stairs in the entrance hall? Some game testers actually missed them. :toothy:  

@muck [spoiler]The missing 4 coins are a bit hidden. One of them can be reached from the platform mentioned. Tip: take the pickaxe with you[/spoiler]

I downloaded the game and played it for a bit. The controls still take some getting used to, and sometimes Dizzy doesn't do what I intended, but I think that's because the phone's touchscreen doesn't respond very well. It's a shame Dizzy doesn't have a health bar, and if he comes into contact with a rat or a torch, he loses a life. Otherwise, I like the game. Thanks for making the Android version.

I must be Dizzy in the head.  What is the secret to getting on the moving boat? I jump on the boat and then immediately fall in the water and DIE!

May I introduce...!? This is Debby.

Debby is Dora’s absolute best friend and the most glamorous yet insecure egg in the Yolkfolk. Her ultimate trademark is that she loves to feather her nest with other people’s feathers ... both literally, through her flashy headdress, and figuratively: she often presents the masterpieces of other villagers as her own just to be admired in the village. Despite these little fibs, you cannot help but love her. She has a massive heart and is simply searching for recognition ... especially from Denzil, the absolute coolest guy of the crew.

Great game brings back so many memories. Am i missing something, Is there anything to do after you go through the well, to the next level? i found a piece of mirror or glass but it disappeared.   cant seem to do anything?
