What has been released:
Seymour Goes to Hollywood (remake/port), an unofficial fan-game remake of Codemasters' 1993 DOS classic, free for Windows. Released alongside it is the game's new website, with the story, how to play, and a full hints and walkthrough section.
Highlights:
Plays exactly like the 1993 DOS release: checked frame by frame against the original, through a complete game from start to ending
The original AdLib and PC-speaker music, both reproduced (use settings to toggle)
Eight save slots with pictures, plus quick save and quick load
Game controller support and key rebinding
Fullscreen at any size, and an optional CRT look
Cheats: infinite lives, infinite energy (included in the menu)
A small download: 1.3 MB (2.7 MB unpacked), no installer
Stuck? The website has a spoiler-free hint for every puzzle, one nudge at a time with a video of the solution, plus a full illustrated walkthrough

Seymour Goes to Hollywood: Codemasters. Seymour was created by Big Red Software.
1993 DOS release: David Spicer (program), Brian Hartley (graphics), Gerard Gourley (music)
Unofficial fan-game remake: Enthusiast Guy, 2026
Built with SDL2, ymfm, lodepng, nlohmann/json and the zfast_crt shader by Greg Hogan (SoltanGris42)
An unofficial fan-game remake, not affiliated with or endorsed by Codemasters.
Known issues:
- MacOS and Linux versions aren't out yet; they're coming soon.
- The program isn't signed, so Windows SmartScreen may warn on first start: click More info, then Run anyway.
- The CRT look and sharp scaling need OpenGL 3.2. Without it the game still runs, plainly scaled.
Mirroring encouraged, you may also use this press kit:
