About the GameMarooned on a remote Island, once upon a time, the brave adventurer Dizzy discovered great treasures, and was forced to part with them in exchange for a sorry little motor-dinghy in which to make his escape.
Now, almost out of fuel and miles from home, he steers his failing craft into an inlet of "La Isla de Almas Perdidas": an island where pirates and rum-smugglers were once rife, but which is now a grim and haunted place.
What chance is there of finding any fuel here?
But you seem to have no choice...
Trivia & HistoryThe speed at which Dizzy moves demonstrates how fast the game will go, so take the opportunity to fine-tune your desired speed with the "9" and "0" keys (slower and faster respectively).

Overland Mode:
(Objective: travel between the adventure scenes, avoid enemies, collect power-ups)
Cursor Keys - Move Dizzy.
Items cannot be picked and dropped while in Overland Mode.
While in overland mode, keep a look out for roving spirits (who, unlike in the adventure mode, will try to home in on your location).
Also try to collect power-up tiles.
There are three types (1-Ups, Shields, and Speed Boosts), but only one is ever present on the map.
Choose your route strategically, or you may find yourself being out-manoeuvred by the enemies.
The shortest route is rarely the safest!
New adventure locations will be revealed as you play.
At the start, you only know the location of the dock.
Be sure to get some information before you set out in search of other places!
